Created in 2003, they became famous for their screw-less integrated stainless steel frames that feature a patented hingeless design. This makes them awesome because if you sit on them the temples break off and easily snap back into place. They have shockingly beautiful stores in Paris, Berlin and Tokyo all completely brilliant white and neon. Worn by every celebrity imaginable, these glasses can be seen in countless editorials, their unique structure instantly recognizable.

With any luck they will be the next designer we are able to add to the Monocle Order Family….fingers crossed!

I’ve picked some of my favorite shades from my best designers. Bright colors, mirrored lenses and funky shapes to keep you looking cool in the summer sun.

Losers can be winners!

I lost my sunglasses on a rooftop party in Bushwick last weekend dancing too hard. But these weren’t just any sunglasses, they were the ridiculously good looking one of a kind custom shades Vidal Erkohen, the designer of RVS by V had made for me. They were black and pink with my named stamped in large gold block letters along the temple. I loved them so much I barely wore them for fear that my hurricane like self would a. crush them. b. lose them. I lost them in a instant. So, I called him heartbroken and that lovely man made me a new pair with electric cobalt blue mirrored lenses and matching temples. They are gorgeous, I am deliriously happy.

One of the many benefit of being a Monocle Order member is we can have any pair of RVS frames hand stamped with anything you like…a nickname, initials, or whatever your deviant little mind can fathom!

TL always has glasses that make all celebrities change their panties. These are from his summer 2012 line, with contrasting acetates, a blue gradiated lens and killer cat eye… I am in love.

Gorgeous burlesque dancers slinked about the room, acrobats balanced off of bar stools, stilts walkers manned the guest list, disco balls twirled and we danced into the wee hours of the starry night. This will be the first of many summer time soirees, so keep your snork snorkel tuned, for I will keep you up to date with all the nefarious happenings!
